Selecting A Storage Space

Ask one of our friendly staff to help you choose a space that best suits your needs. An efficiently packed small space will cost less than a larger space. Our new ‘Top Box’ range is perfect for document storage and smaller office items. If you frequently use the space, a larger space, well organised (racks and file boxes), may be more convenient, the choice is yours.

Insurance

The goods you have in our self storage space are yours and remain your sole responsibility. You should always have them covered by insurance. Your goods are not insured by our self storage facilities. Check with your insurance provider to see if your cover has provision for items in storage – you may already be covered. If not, our qualified staff will be able to assist you with the provision of suitable insurance cover.

The Storage Agreement

The self storage Agreement we use is for the protection of the storer and the storage centre owner. It is an important document. Be sure to read it thoroughly. If you are not sure or don’t understand any part of the agreement just ask one of the staff at our self storage facility and they will answer any questions you may have.

What Can’t I store

Common sense, and New Zealand laws determine what can and can’t be stored. However, under your self storage Agreement you can’t store hazardous, dangerous, illegal, stolen, perishable, environmentally harmful goods or explosive goods.

MAF Approved Transitional Facility

Storage Solutions is an approved Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry transitional facility for container unpacking. We have staff who are accredited persons for the purpose of checking sea containers from all countries. This gives commercial and domestic customers the convenience of having a container delivered directly to our facility, checked and unloaded on site, ready to go straight into storage or be forwarded on. Storage Solutions also has a forklift and driver, pallet jack, trolleys, truck and trailers available for your convenience.
