We are delighted to announce that Storage Solutions in Porirua, Wellington has been awarded the coveted 'FACILITY OF THE YEAR' for Australia and New Zealand 2009/10.
Storage Solutions has won the prestigious Self Storage Association of Australasia 'Facility of the Year' award for 2009/10.
2008 saw Storage Solutions win the 'Best Expansion/Upgrade' award and 2009 sees Storage Solutions win the coveted Facility of the Year making it 2 in a row! Manager Fiona Gilbert was also a finalist for the 'Manager of the Year'.
The field for this years Self Storage Association Awards was one of the strongest ever. Storage Solutions competed against facilities from each state in Australia as well as all of New Zealand. It was not just the innovative design and construction that impressed the judges, but also our business model. Customer interviews and mystery shopping results showed an exceptional level of customer service.

Q = Can we gain insurance from insurers?
 Q = Can Storage Solutions provide insurance?
A = Yes we can provide self-storage insurance, and at very reasonable rates.
Q = Can Storage Solutions provide packing materials?
A = We have a full range of packaging materials for sale at our office
Q = When can I access my unit?
A = Anytime! 24 hours 7 days a week.
Q = How do I pay?
 A = You can pay by using Automatic Payment, Internet banking, cash, Eftpos, Visa, Mastercard and cheque
Q = When do I pay?
A = Your self-storage is paid monthly in advance when you move in and is calculated on a daily basis when you move out.
Q = Can we change to a different unit?
A = Yes, you can upgrade or downsize your unit when ever you like. Fees will be calculated on a daily basis.
Q = What is the minimum hire period?
 A = From one day or forever, but any period under one calender month is charged on a daily basis and a $30.00 administration fee applies.
Q = What security do you have?
A = Every unit is individually alarmed, monitored by Chubb Security, digital surveillance cameras, security fencing and lighting, computer controlled access gate using your own personal prox card with you locking your unit and you holding the key.
Q = What about pest control?
 A = Storage Solutions has an extensive pest control program in place. It is still very important that you do not store any type of food stuffs or perishable items.
Q = How do I choose the size unit I need?
A = We have 30 unit sizes ranging from locker size right up to large single garages and workshop size. We can help you choose the right size that best suits your needs so you don’t pay for more space than you need.

Storage Space Estimator
 Click on the picture to the right and that will take you to the SSAA Space estimator this is a great tool that will help you to work out how many cubic meters you have to store and in turn you will then be able to select a unit that best suits your needs and with our facility being able to provide 30 different sizes this will insure you don't pay for space you don't need. Please Note that the unit size may need to be larger in cubic metres than the estimator comes up with this will depend on how it is stacked and how you have packed your goods and also whether you require access to certain goods or need to store certain goods a certain way ie are you happy to have couches stood on there ends
