Storage Solutions has won the prestigious Self Storage Association of Australasia 'Facility of the Year' award for 2009/10.
2008 saw Storage Solutions win the 'Best Expansion/Upgrade' award and 2009 sees Storage Solutions win the coveted Facility of the Year making it 2 in a row! Manager Fiona Gilbert was also a finalist for the 'Manager of the Year'.
The field for this years Self Storage Association Awards was one of the strongest ever. Storage Solutions competed against facilities from each state in Australia as well as all of New Zealand. It was not just the innovative design and construction that impressed the judges, but also our business model. Customer interviews and mystery shopping results showed an exceptional level of customer service.

The amount of space can be increased or decreased as required. self storage provides businesses with convenient easy access, with no appointment necessary, for short or long-term storage. Business of all types and sizes can benefit from utilising our self storage centre.
Selecting A Storage Space
Ask one of our friendly staff to help you choose a space that best suits your needs. An efficiently packed small space will cost less than a larger space. If you frequently use the space, a larger space, well organised (racks and file boxes), may be more convenient, the choice is yours.
Insurance
The goods you have in our self storage space are yours and remain your sole responsibility. You should always have them covered by insurance. Your goods are not insured by our self storage centre. Check with your insurance provider to see if your cover has provision for items in storage - you may already be covered. If not, our qualified staff will be able to assist you with the provision of suitable insurance cover.
The Storage Agreement
The self storage Agreement we use is for the protection of the storer and the storage centre owner. It is an important document. Be sure to read it thoroughly. If you are not sure or don't understand any part of the agreement just ask one of the staff at our self storage facility and they will answer any questions you may have.
What Can't I store
Common sense, and New Zealand laws determine what can and can't be stored. However, under your self storage Agreement you can't store hazardous, dangerous, illegal, stolen, perishable, environmentally harmful goods or explosive goods.
MAF Approved Transitional Facility
Storage Solutions is an approved Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry transitional facility for container unpacking. We have staff who are accredited persons for the purpose of checking sea containers from all countries. This gives commercial and domestic customers the convenience of having a container delivered directly to our facility, checked and unloaded on site, ready to go straight into storage or be forwarded on. Storage Solutions also has a forklift and driver, pallet jack, trolleys and trailers available for your convenience.

Storage Space Estimator
 Click on the picture to the right and that will take you to the SSAA Space estimator this is a great tool that will help you to work out how many cubic meters you have to store and in turn you will then be able to select a unit that best suits your needs and with our facility being able to provide 30 different sizes this will insure you don't pay for space you don't need. Please Note that the unit size may need to be larger in cubic metres than the estimator comes up with this will depend on how it is stacked and how you have packed your goods and also whether you require access to certain goods or need to store certain goods a certain way ie are you happy to have couches stood on there ends
