At both Storage Solutions facilities in Tawa, Wellington and Kenepuru, Porirua we have packaging shops where we can offer a full range of padlocks, packaging and moving  products to help you pack up, transport and store your belongings – just like the professionals do. Items include:

Insurance

The goods you have in your self storage space are yours and remain your sole responsibility. You should always have them covered by insurance. Your goods are not insured by our self storage facilities. Check with your insurance provider to see if your cover has provision for your items in storage – you may already be covered, please note that most insurance companies will not insure goods in storage for more than a 6 month period. Should using your own insurer not be an option for you then one of our qualified staff will be able to assist you with the provision of suitable insurance cover using Ingerson Insurance Brokers who will provide you with a Self Storage Policy that will cover your goods at either one of our facilities. The insurance underwriter is IAG (New Zealand) Limited.

Moving your good's

As well as providing you with ‘free’ use of  furniture trolleys, barrows, pellet jack and Genie lift we also offer 'free' use on move in of our covered or caged trailers, Storage Solutions is also able to provide you with a  furniture truck or forklift with driver all hired at very reasonable rates (advanced booking required). All this to make your move to Storage Solutions that much more smoother and hassle free. If you are too busy or just want someone else to handle your move, we can provide you with a list of suitably qualified professionals to help you out.
